I made this cup anemometer for my science badge. To see how well it worked we went for a drive i held it out the window and counted how many times it did a full spin in 30 seconds. When we drove at 20mph it spun 22 times, at 35mph at spun 66 times and lastly we drove at 50mph and i could not keep up with the spins it went super fast. I really enjoyed making this and seeing how it worked.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't get the video to open but I really enjoyed reading about how you trialled your anemometer! That was using your initiative for sure. I am impressed that it held up to those speeds when you were driving along. You must have done a great job of constructing it. Ka pai to mahi.
